Traffic Stop Nets Stolen Goods

Man arrested in connection with stolen items from nearby cities, police said.

An early-morning arrest during a traffic stop netted some items that were reportedly stolen from Azusa and Covina.

The traffic stop was conducted near the interstate 210 freeway westbound at Grand Avenue at 3:05 a.m. Saturday. During the traffic stop, officers searched the car and found the stolen goods, said Lieutenant James DeMond of Glendora Police. The items found were not specified.

Authorities continue to investigate, as the man, Timothy Ingels, 25, may be connected to some Glendora thefts, DeMond said.

Ingels was booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property, grand theft and burglary. Ingels was held in lieu of $20,000 bail.
