Thousands In Merchandise Stolen From Glendora Smoke Shop
Police are investigating a commercial burglary in which a burglar, or burglars, made off with expensive merchandise.
Police responded to a call from the owner of the business, Dec. 16. The crime was committed after a front-facing window was smashed at The Pipe King Smoke Shop, 1948 East Route 66. At least $14,000 in merchandise was stolen, said Lieutenant Matt Williams of Glendora Police.
The crime was reported at 9:25 a.m. after the owner arrived to find the window smashed. The owner received alarm activation calls, but reportedly assumed the alarms were false, Williams said.
No description of the burglar, or burglars, was available.
