Thief Flees With T-Mobile Phone

Glendora Police set up a perimeter Saturday afternoon to catch a thief who attempted to make off with a T-Mobile phone.

A thief made off with a phone from the T-Mobile store in Glendora, only to be caught moments later by Glendora Police.

Daniel Garcia Cervantes, 30, fled the store at 541 S Grand Ave. with a T-Mobile phone in hand at around 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon, according to Lt. James DeMond. The manager of the store gave chase to the suspect but could not catch up to him.

Glendora Police set up a containment area and caught the suspect at 801 W. Hollyvale.

Cervantes was arrested and booked under theft.
