Teens Arrested After Large Fight With Adults

Fight stemmed from 'ongoing' issue with those involved, police said.

Police were called to a reported fight at the Elwood Family Apartments Monday, a fight involving teens and adults.

No injuries were reported, police said.

The fight was reported at 5:49 p.m. in the 600 block of South Elwood Avenue. About 10 people were fighting with each other. The fight was allegedly an ongoing issue between residents of the apartments and residents of the trailer home nearby, said Sergeant Scott Strong of

Three juveniles were arrested after the fight and booked on suspicion of battery, Strong said. Their ages were not disclosed.
