Two men are in custody after leading Los Angeles County Sheriffs deputies on a short vehicle pursuit in San Dimas and abandoning their car stashed with drugs and a gun in Glendora Friday night.
The pursuit began in San Dimas in the area of Arrow Highway and Valley Center Drive in San Dimas at around 11:10 p.m. San Dimas Sheriffs were conducting a DUI checkpoint when a 2013 Chevy Impala tried to pull out of the checkpoint line, nearly hitting a volunteer, said Lt. David Vega.

With the help of Glendora Police, deputies set up a containment and found the suspects in the area.
A gun and narcotics were found in the abandoned vehicle.
