Suspect Arrested For Sexually Battering Citrus College Student

Glendora Police investigators say Michael Reza, Dupont, 64, lured a student from a Covina bus stop and sexually battered her.

Glendora Police arrested a man investigators say lured a female Citrus College foreign exchange student from a Covina bus stop and repeatedly sexually battered her.

The incident occurred Sept. 30, when Michael Reza Dupont, 64, of West Covina duped an 18-year-old female student into entering his red 2002 Toyota Camry while she waited at a bus stop in Covina, according to a statement by Lt. Brian Summers.

Dupont allegedly told the woman he needed directions. He then drove to Glendora where the victim said she needed to go to Citrus College where she is a student. During the drive to the campus, Dupont allegedly repeatedly sexually battered the woman despite her pleas for him to stop.

The driver drove to the Citrus College campus where he let the woman out of the vehicle, according to Summers.

Glendora Police arrested Dupont during a sting at the same Covina bus stop using a female police decoy. A suspect matching the description drove up in a grey 2013 Mercedes and asked if the police decoy needed a ride. The man was immediately arrested and identified as the man who investigators say sexually battered the student the previous day.
