Increased foot traffic expected in Glendora Village this weekend.

Glendora Police is reminding local motorists that streets and parking in Glendora’s downtown will be temporarily closed for Friday’s Holiday Stroll and Saturday’s Bryan Clay 5K run.

On Friday, Nov. 16, parking in the Village on North Glendora Avenue will shut down to get ready for the Holiday Stroll and Tree Lighting that evening. Parking for the event will be available behind businesses on Vista Bonita and Vermont Avenues. The Holiday Stroll will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

On Saturday, Nov. 17, streets in and around the Glendora Village will be closed for the Bryan Clay Foundation’s Fit4Fall 5K Run.

Street closures will begin at 6 a.m. The race will begin at 7 a.m. and will reopen as runners make their way around the course. Businesses will remain open during the event. Parking will be available behind businesses on Vista Bonita and Vermont Avenues.

Glendora Police cautions motorists to be mindful of increased pedestrian traffic in the area during these two events.
