Stranded Workers Rescued From Atop Giant Sign

The two men were rescued after their construction lift malfunctioned 130 feet above the ground.

Los Angeles County firefighters have rescued two construction workers after their construction lift malfunctioned and left them stranded 130 feet off the ground, according to an L.A. County Fire dispatcher.

The two workers were working on a giant Auto Centre billboard sign at Lone Hill Avenue and Gladstone Street in Glendora when their lift malfunctioned at around 9:30 p.m.

The two men were rescued by 11 p.m., according to the dispatcher.
