UPDATE: St. Paddy's Celebration Turns to Donnybrook at T. Phillips

Fight breaks out at the restaurant during holiday-themed night, two arrested. One of those involved in fight began attacking a member of the management when they tried to stop it, police said.

The luck of the Irish was not at Saturday night as an evening of green beer and festivities turned into a fight.

According to scanner reports, the altercation allegedly broke out in the alleyway near the restaurant, 180 North Glendora Avenue, around 7:45 p.m., according to police.

Officers arrived and arrested twin brothers Corey and Brett Tobin, 23 on suspicion of battery. Both suspects have since been cited and released.

When officers arrived, at least one of the subjects went back into T. Phillips while the other suspect left the scene, according to scanner reports. An officer detained one suspect and put him in handcuffs inside T. Phillips while officers went out in search of the next, eventually finding him.

It was previously unknown why the fight broke out, but Glendora Police revealed that the fight began between when one of the brothers and an unidentified male began arguing near the bathrooms. Management attempted to break up the fight and that is when one of the Tobins turned and began hitting them, said Sgt. Matt Williams.

It is unknown if alcohol played a factor in the fight; Glendora Police arrest logs do not list public drunkenness or disorderly conduct as any of the charges, only battery.

There were no siginifcant injuries reported by police.
