The fire, which was reported 10:09 a.m., is roughly two acres and is burning uphill, but at a slow rate, fire officials said.

The California Highway Patrol and Azusa police have closed Highway 39 at mile marker 18 while fire crews work on the brush fire, according to the CHP.
