San Dimas Men Convicted in Beating of Glendora Man

The two men were convicted in the Dec. 26 beating of a 22-year-old Glendora man.

Two San Dimas men were convicted in the beating of Glendora man late last year, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

The two 19-year-old defendants, Mark Antoine Hachem and Gabriel Andrew Ojeda, were convicted in a Pomona courthouse Thursday of assault and causing great bodily harm to the 22-year-old victim. Hachem was convicted on a witness intimidation charge, although a jury dismissed the same charge for Ojeda. Ojeda received a misdemeanor assault conviction.

According to Glendora Police, the attack was carried out Dec. 26 in Glendora on Gladstone Street and Willow Avenue because the defendants believed the victim was a witness in another assault case. The victim was punched and kicked to the ground, according to police reports.
