Rash of Robberies Hits Glendora Streets
Suspected thieves brandish handgun, rob victims in nighttime heists.
A rash of five nighttime robberies occurred in Glendora last night, Nov. 1, according to Glendora Police.
All the street robberies occurred between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. according to Sgt. Scott Strong.
All the victims were people either walking on the street, riding bicycles, or on skateboards, according to Strong.

The suspects included two black males in their mid-twenties. The suspects allegedly brandished a semi-automatic handgun.
"It appears to be the same group of suspects," Strong said.

The victims were robbed of items such as wallets and iPods, Strong said.
Robberies occurred at Glendora and Juanita avenues, 700 S. Hunters Trail, 200 E. Gladstone Street, Barranca Avenue and Gladstone, and Meda Avenue and Pennsylvania, according to Strong.
There is no definitive description of a vehicle, Strong said.
A similar incident occurred in Azusa, Nov. 1 at 12:45 a.m., according to Sgt. Tim Harrington of Azusa Police.
Harrington said that the Azusa robbery suspects fit the description of the Glendora suspects.
