Police Seek Public's Help in ID'ing Armed Robbery Suspects

Total of nine such street robberies hit Glendora, Azusa, Covina.

Glendora Police have revealed suspect and vehicle descriptions seen in a series of armed robberies that spanned the cities of Glendora, Azusa and Covina, Nov. 1.

Suspect one is described as a black male, between 20 and 30 years old, between 6 feet and 6-foot-3-inches, about 160 pounds, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and red basketball shorts, according to Glendora PD.

The suspect was seen brandishing a black semi-automatic weapon of an unknown type.

Suspect two is described as a black male between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 6-foot-1, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, according to Glendora PD.

Authorities say there may be a third unidentified male suspect.

The first vehicle is described as a white or silver late '90s, two-door Pontiac Firebird with a sunroof. The second vehicle is described as a late '90s two-door Acura Integra with a sunroof, tinted windows and a white sticker on the right, rear passenger window, police said.

Five of the nine robberies occurred in Glendora between 7 and 10 p.m.,  Nov.1, according to Sgt. Scott Strong.

All victims were either walking, or riding bicycles or skateboards and were robbed of items, such as wallets and iPods, according to police. One victim was punched during a robbery.
