Police Find Car Burglary Items in Man's Motel Room

They find electric items including laptops and GPS devices after receiving a report of a man acting suspiciously.

Glendora Police arrested Jonathon Carpenter, 34, a transient, on car burglary charges after responding Friday to the motel room he was staying.

They found electronic items including laptop computers and GPS devices that had been stolen in car burglaries including one in Glendora and five in West Covina.

Police Sgt Scott Strong reported that police responded to a motel in the 300 block of Route 66 where a man was reported to be acting suspiciously. They determined that the man was on probation and searched the motel room.
