Police Dept. Receives Grant To Aid in DUI Enforcement

The Glendora Police Department was awarded a $600,000 grant recently to administer the "Avoid the 100" DUI Task Force campaigns carried out in Los Angeles County.

The California Office of Traffic Safety distributed the $600,000 grant to Glendora Police who will coordinate the DUI campaign for the entire county.

"Drunk and drugged driving remains the number one killer on our roadways with 774 deaths and over 24,000 injuries. The “Avoid the 100” DUI Task Force will be combating this deadly problem through DUI enforcement efforts," said officials in a written statement.
