Police Blotter: Thefts, DUIs and Traffic Collisions

Local police activity for the week of Nov. 14 to Nov. 20.

The following information was supplied by the Glendora Police department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Nov. 14, Sgt. DeMond on duty.

  • At 2:01 a.m. officers initiated a traffic stop on the 1100 block of E. Foothill Blvd. and arrested the driver for driving under the influence of a controlled substance. They were held on $2500 bail.
  • At 10:21 a.m. officers investigated a theft report on the 1600 block of E. Foothill Blvd.
  • At 10:21 a.m. officers arrested Janice Kimball, 41, on the 200 block of E. Route 66 on multiple warrants. She was held on $15,000 bail.
  • At 8:10 p.m. officers investigated a robbery report on the 800 block of W. Arrow Highway.
  • At 8:45 p.m. officers responded to a 9-1-1 hang up on the 600 block of E. Renwick Road and arrested the suspect for disorderly conduct resulting from drugs or alcohol. They were held on $250 bail.


Tuesday, Nov. 15, Sgt. Williams on duty.

  • At 6:50 a.m. officers investigated a report of graffiti on the 100 block of E. Route 66.
  • At 9:38 a.m. officers investigated a vandalism report on the 2000 block of E. Gladstone Street. Someone removed some maintenance panels on a cell phone tower, but nothing was damaged, Williams said.
  • At 2 p.m. officers performed a traffic stop on S. Glendora at Colorado avenues and arrested the 59-year-old driver for driving without a valid license. They were held on $250 bail.


Wednesday, Nov. 16, Sgt. Williams on duty.

  • At 6:10 a.m. officers responded to an injury traffic collision at N. Grand Avenue and Foothill Blvd. Officers arrested the 20-year-old driver for not having a license. They were held on $100 bail.
  • At 9:04 a.m. officers investigated a theft report on the 800 block of S. Grand Avenue.
  • At 2:16 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance call on the 300 block of E. Claraday Street. They arrested the suspect for disorderly conduct resulting from alcohol. They were held on $250 bail.
  • At 2:30 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance call on the 400 block of W. Foothill Blvd. and arrested Renee Herrera, 40, for burglary. She was held on $20,000 bail.
  • At 5:31 p.m. officers responded to a grand theft auto report on the 400 block of N. Vermont Avenue.


Thursday, Nov. 17, Lt. Caldwell on duty.

  • At 3:22 a.m. officers responded to a theft in progress on the 900 block of S. Jennifer Avenue and arrested 23-year-old Robert Cano, residence unknown, for burglary. He was also arrested on two warrants. He was held on $20,000 bail.
  • At 4:42 a.m. officers responded to a non-injury traffic collision on Glendora at Vista Bonita Avenues and arrested the female driver for not having a license and for failure to provide proof of insurance. They were held on $200 bail.
  • At 9:42 a.m. officers responded to a theft report at Citrus College, 1000 W. Foothill Blvd.
  • At 2:01 p.m. officers responded to a non-injury traffic collision on Citrus at Alosta avenues. Officers arrested a 21-year-old driver for DUI and for having a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit.
  • At 5:41 p.m. officers responded to a family disturbance on the 400 block of W. Sierra Madre Avenue. Two brothers were arguing, one threatened to kill the other. When officers arrived, the threatening suspect fled from authorities and a containment was set up around Rainbow Drive and Westbridge Avenue. The suspect was eventually apprehended. Officers arrested Andrew Connors, 25, for assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm, making criminal threats to injure or kill and also for obstructing a police officer. Connors was held on $50,000 bail.
  • At 8:22 p.m. officers performed a pedestrian check on the 500 block of S. Glendora Avenue and arrested the 20-year-old suspect for possession of drug paraphernalia. They were cited and released.


Friday, Nov. 18, Lt. Lamborghini on duty.

  • At 3:55 a.m. officers initiated a traffic stop on E. Route 66 at Compromise Line Road. Officers arrested the driver for DUI and for having a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit, they also had a few warrants. They were held on $25,000 bail.
  • At 10:22 a.m. officers responded to a theft report at Glendora High School, 1600 E. Foothill Blvd.
  • At 10:53 a.m. officers investigated a theft report on the 1300 block of E. Gladstone Street.
  • At 12:15 p.m. officers returned to Glendora High School to investigate another theft report.
  • At 12:33 p.m. officers investigated a theft report on the 800 block of E. Sierra Madre Avenue.


Saturday, Nov. 19, Lt. Lamborghini on duty.

  • At 1:33 a.m. officers investigated a drunk driver on Grand Avenue at Baseline Road and arrested the 55-year-old male driver for DUI and for having a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit. They were held on $5,000 bail.
  • At 9:53 a.m. officers investigated a theft report at Citrus College, 1000 W. Foothill Blvd.
  • At 2:21 p.m. officers investigated a report of suspicious circumstances on the 1600 block of Sunflower Avenue. Officers arrested 29-year-old Jeff Skelley for vandalism and theft. He was held on $500 bail.


Sunday, Nov. 20, Sgt. Randazzo on duty.

  • At 2:09 a.m. officers performed a traffic on San Dimas Avenue at Allen Street in San Dimas and arrested the driver for disorderly conduct. They were held on $250 bail.
  • At 2:17 a.m. officers performed a traffic stop on the 500 block of S. Grand Avenue and arrested the driver for DUI and for having a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit. They were held on $5,000 bail.
  • at 3:21 a.m. officers performed a traffic stop on the 1300 block of S. Grand Avenue and arrested the driver for DUI and for having a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit. They were held on $15,000 bail.
  • At 3:52 a.m. officers responded to a report of suspicious circumstances on the 700 block of E. Forestdale Avenue and arrested the suspect for disorderly conduct. They were held on $250 bail.
  • At 8:22 a.m. officers investigated a vehicle burglary report at Citrus College, 1000 W. Foothill Blvd.
  • At 10:10 a.m. officers investigated a theft report on the 300 block of W. Route 66.
