Police Blotter: Robbery at the Police Station, Indecent Exposure & Drugs

Glendora police activity for the week of July 25 to July 31.

The following information was supplied by the Glendora Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, July 26: Lt. Joe Ward on duty.

  • A Glendora man was arrested and charged with shortly after midnight. Police arrested Terry McCollum, 34, on suspicion of robbery at 12:22 a.m.

Thursday, July 28: Lt. Rob Lamborghini on duty.

  • Glendora Police are looking for at Pasadena Avenue and Route 66 at about 5 p.m. Lamborghini said the man was riding a bicycle and rode up to the bus stop where he approached a 48-year-old woman and solicited a sex act. When the woman declined, he exposed himself to her, Lamborghini said.

Friday, July 29: Lt. James DeMond on duty.

  • At 1:14 a.m. Glendora Police responded to a report of a fight in the 200 block of West Duell Street. When they arrived, they found no fight, but instead saw two people in a car. In the car they found a male suspect with a warrant and a female suspect in possession of methamphetamine. They arrested Francisco Arguelles, 18, on a warrant charge and Annette Contreras, 28, on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine, DeMond said. The police report did not list where the two were from.

  • At 8:45 a.m. Glendora Police responded to a report of a man asleep in his car in the 1000 block of Route 66. They arrested, cited and released Gary Balch, 49, of Glendora on suspicion of possessing narcotics paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

Sunday, July 31: Sgt. Matt Williams on duty.

  • At 11:04 a.m. Glendora Police recovered a stolen vehicle in the 900 block of La Serena Drive.  The Honda Civic out of Covina was parked at the location, Williams said.
