Police Blotter: Pedestrian Accident, High-Speed Pursuit and DUI’s

Local police activity for the week of Jan. 28 to Feb. 3

The following information was provided by the Glendora Police Department and LASD San Dimas Station. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Jan. 28  Sgt. Matt Egan and Sgt. Scott Strong on duty

 5:37 p.m. A man was in critical condition after he was hit by a pickup truck on Gladstone Avenue. The accident occurred following another minor traffic accident involving two other people. The victim arrived at the scene to assist his mother who was involved in the previous accident. For an unknown reason, the victim and another man walked into the street and both were struck by a Toyota Tacoma. One received minor injuries while the other was airlifted to LAC/USC hospital in critical condition.

5:50 p.m. Jeremy Moreno, 25, was arrested at 940 S. Grand Ave. on burglary charges. His bail was set at $20,000.

Tuesday, Jan. 29 Lt. Jamie Caldwell and Sgt. Scott Strong on duty.

2:54 a.m. Donald Ray Moore, 32, was arrested at Baseline and Grand Avenue for possession of a controlled substance. His bail was set at $10,000.

2:43 p.m. Jean Marie Bauer, 77, was arrested at 739 N. Glendora Ave. on theft and embezzlement charges. Her bail was set at $50,000.

6:13 p.m. Salvador Jose Medrano, 40, was arrested at Grand Avenue and Route 66 for disorderly conduct, His bail was set at $250.

8:53 p.m. Robert Vincent Trudeau, 32, was arrested in the 300 block of W. Foothill Blvd. on DUI charges. His bail was set at $5,000.

Wednesday, Jan 30 Lt. Jamie Caldwell and Sgt. Scott Strong on duty.

6 p.m. David Hagins, 46, of Glendora led several law enforcement agencies on a multi-county high-speed pursuit that ended near Redlands. Hagins was booked for driving under the influence, evading police and driving with a suspended license.

11 p.m. Two were arrested for burglary after they were seen leaving the city water yard in a truck loaded with pipes.

Thursday, Jan 31 Lt. Rob Lamborghini and Lt. James DeMond on duty.

10:07 a.m. Michael Anthony Dunajsk, 27, was arrested at 600 S. Grand Ave. for disorderly conduct.

Friday, Feb. 1 Lt. Rob Lamborghini and Lt. James DeMond on duty.

7:55 a.m. A would be thief gets cold feet and returns a stolen gift card in the 700 block of S. Grand Ave.

3:50 p.m. Anna Marie Rodriguez, 20, was arrested at Grand and Juanita avenues for possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $30,000.

Saturday, Feb. 2 Lt. Rob Lamborghini and Lt. James DeMond on duty.

2:54 p.m. Wesley Francis Crist, 52, was arrested on Foothill Blvd on DUI charges. His bail was set at $5,000.

11:13 p.m. Valerie Vargas, 46, was arrested at Live Oak and Palm on DUI charges and a hit and run. Her bail was set at $40,000.

Sunday, Feb. 3 Lt. Rob Lamborghini and Lt. James DeMond on duty.

12:09 a.m. Jason Ryan Boyett, 31, was arrested on Arrow Hwy. For being under the influence of a controlled substance. His bail was set at $2,500.

2:35 a.m. Kassandra Kay Sanchez, 28, was arrested at Foothill Blvd. and Amelia Avenue on DUI charges.

2:49 a.m. Robert Garcia, 53, was arrested at Vermont and Ada avenues on DUI charges. His bail was set at $5,000.

4:36 a.m. Alec Brent Trejos, 21, was arrested Foothill and Citrus on DUI charges. His bail was set at $5,000.

8:55 p.m. Elizabeth Godoy, 24, was arrested at Grand and Juanita avenues on DUI charges. Her bail was set at $5,000.

10:31 p.m. Anthony Ryan Ochoa, 25, was arrested at 600 S. Vermont on DUI charges. His bail was set at $5,000.
