Police Blotter: A Look At Local Crime Activity in Glendora

Information for Nov. 11 to Nov. 17

The following information was provided by the Glendora Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Nov. 11
2:21 a.m. - Theft was reported in the 500 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue.

7:38 a.m. - Theft was reported in the 300 block of North Baldy Vista Avenue. A report was taken.

1:31 p.m. - Vandalism was reported in the 600 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue.

9:58 p.m. - Battery was reported in the 700 block of West Route 66.

Tuesday, Nov. 12

7:24 a.m. - Theft was investigated in the 100 block of North Windermere Lane.

9:06 a.m. - Theft was investigated in the 800 block of West Park View Terrace.

9:11 a.m. - Theft in progress was reported in the 100 block of North Vermont Avenue. The resident caught a juvenile rifling through his vehicle. The victim confronted the suspect, asked for the suspect's name, which the suspect gave before fleeing. Police arrested the suspect.

4:54 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 1200 block of East Claraday Avenue. Arrested was Jacob Christman, 18, on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Christman was held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

6:40 p.m. - Burglary was investigated in the 300 block of West Meda Avenue.

Wednesday, Nov. 13
1:04 p.m. - A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 block of South Grand Avenue. Police arrested Anthony Powers, 30, on DUI and exceeding the legal blood-alcohol level. Powers was issued a citation and released.

7:46 a.m. - An injury traffic collision was investigated in the 1700 block of South Sunflower Avenue.

11:41 a.m. - Theft was reported in the 1300 block of South Sunflower Avenue.

Thursday, Nov. 14
12:03 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 1400 block of South Grand Avenue. Arrested was Ali Fanach, 31, on several outstanding warrants. Fanach was released for a court appearance.

8:03 a.m. - Grand theft auto was reported in the 500 block of South Pasadena. A report was taken.

6:48 p.m. - Police took a report of a critical missing person in the 2200 block of East Route 66.

7:15 p.m. - Vandalism was reported in the 400 block of West Gladstone Street.

Friday, Nov. 15
7:33 a.m. - Theft was investigated in the 300 block of West Leadora Avenue.

9:32 a.m. - Vandalism in progress was reported in the 100 block of West Route 66.

1:57 p.m. - An officer conducted a pedestrian check, 600 block of South Grand Avenue. Arrested was Randall Schmidt, 52, on suspicion of disorderly conduct from alcohol. Schmidt was cited and released.

3:06 p.m. - Fraud was reported in the 300 block of North Loraine Avenue. Police took a report.

8:53 p.m. - A fraud Report was conducted in the 500 block of East Ada Avenue. Arrested was Patrice Butler, 37, was booked on suspicion of embezzlement. Butler was released on $20,000 bond.

Saturday, Nov. 16
1:20 a.m. - Public Drunkenness was reported in the 600 block of South Glendora Avenue. Arrested was Jason Drew, 34. Drew was booked on suspicion of disorderly conduct from alcohol. Drew was released on bail.

9:37 a.m. - Graffiti was reported in the 600 block of West Baseline Road.

6:29 p.m. - Theft in progress was reported in the 800 block of South Grand Avenue.

10:35 p.m. - A traffic stop was conducted in the 700 block of East Route 66. Arrested was Garrett Moberg, 22, on suspicion of DUI and exceeding the legal-blood alcohol level. Moberg was cited and released.

Sunday, Nov. 17.
12:01 a.m. Police were called to a battery report, 100 block South Glendora Avenue and arrested Elizabeth Oley, 24, on suspicion of DUI and exceeding the legal blood-alcohol level. Oley was held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

10:06 a.m. A theft report was filed in the 1000 block of South Charvers Avenue.

1:43 p.m. - Police responded to Glendora Avenue and the railroad tracks on a Glendora Municipal Code violation. Arrested was Michele Wrenz, 35, on suspicion of trespassing on railroad property. Renz was cited and released.

11:03 p.m. - A non-injury hit and run was reported on South Lone Hill Avenue and Route 66. A report was taken.
