Police Blotter: A Look At Local Crime Activity In Glendora

Crime for the week of Oct. 28 to Nov. 3.

The following was provided by the Glendora Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Oct. 28.
4:05 a.m. - An injury traffic collision was reported in the 200 block of West Dawson Avenue.

9:08 a.m. - A non-injury traffic collision was reported in the 400 block of South Pasadena Avenue. Police took a report.

9:32 a.m. - Theft was investigated in the 1000 block of North Englewild Drive.

10:09 a.m. - Theft in progress was reported at Ace Mission Hardware. Arrested was Javier Mendoza, 60, on suspicion of theft. Mendoza was issued a citation and released.

6:39 p.m. - Police investigated a reported battery in the 800 block of East Route 66.

Tuesday, Oct. 29.
6:36 a.m. - Theft was reported in the 500 block of West Route 66.

9:35 a.m. - Theft was reported in the 1300 block of South Lone Hill Avenue. A report was taken.

3:08 p.m. - Police conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Grand Avenue. Pablo Valdivia, 29, was arrested on several outstanding warrants. Valdivia was released for a court appearance.

7:28 p.m. - Officers responded to a reported grand theft auto at the Elwood Family Apartments, 635 South Elwood Avenue. Police arrested Michael Aragon, 31, on suspicion of vehicle theft. Aragon is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Wednesday, Oct. 30.
8:16 a.m. - Police took a report on a non-injury traffic collision, South Lone Hill Avenue at Route 66.

2:40 p.m. - Fraud was investigated in the 100 block of South Wagonwheel Road.

6:40 p.m. - A non-injury traffic collision occurred at South Pasadena Avenue and Route 66. Arrested was Felix Gomez, 31, on suspicion of failing to produce a license to officers and driving without a license.Gomez was issued a citation and released.

7:48 p.m. - Burglary was reported in the 400 block of West Gladstone.

Thursday, Oct. 31
6:26 a.m. - Grand theft auto was investigated in the 1300 block of Soderberg Aveneue.

7:05 a.m. - Theft was reported in the 900 block of West Gladstone Avenue.

10:21 a.m. - A non-injury traffic collision was reported on East Foothill Blvd. and Valley Center Avenue. A report was taken.

11:38 a.m. - Vehicle burglary was reported in the 1300 block of South Prospero Avenue.

2:10 p.m. - Vehicle burglary was reported in the 400 block of West Gailard Street.

7:18 p.m. - A non-injury traffic collision was investigated at East Foothill Blvd. and Big Fir Lane.

11:57 p.m. - A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of South Le Mar Park Drive. Arrested was Joaquin Arenas, 25, on suspicion of DUI and obstructing an officer. Arenas was issued a citation and was released.

Friday, Nov. 1
7:59 a.m. - Vehicle burglary was reported in the 200 block of South Vermont Avenue.

10:36 a.m. - Theft in progress was reported in the 400 block of East Arrow Avenue. A report was taken.

4:23 p.m. - A non-injury traffic collision was reported on South Lone Hill Avenue and the 210 freeway. A Report was taken.

9:01 p.m. - Officers conducted a bicycle stop, 1300 block of South Grand Avenue. Arrested was Augustin Reyesaguilar, 24, on two outstanding warrants. Reyesaguilar was transferred to Covina Police for professing.

9:57 p.m. - Vandalism was reported in the 200 block of North Barranca Avenue.

Saturday, Nov. 2.
1:31 a.m. - A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 block of West Route 66. Arrested was Anthony Aguilar, 18, on suspicion of DUI and exceeding the legal-blood alcohol level. Aguilar was issued a citation and released.

2:03 p.m. - A vehicle burglary was reported in the 100 block of North Glendora Avenue. A report was taken.

8:20 p.m. - A pedestrian check was conducted in the 500 block of East Colorado. Arrested was Roger Smith, 22, on suspicion of possessing  drug paraphernalia and obstructing an officer. Smith was cited and released.

8:22 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 600 block of West Route 66. An alleged 21-year-old woman entered the home and proceeded to sleep on the sofa. Police arrested Yaritza Guzman on suspicion of disorderly conduct. Guzman was released after no further proceedings were desired.

10:41 p.m. - A theft in progress was reported at Walmart. Police arrested Hector Hernandez, 35, on several outstanding warrants. Hernandez was held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Sunday, Nov. 3
1:52 a.m. - Battery was reported in the 200 block of South Grand Avenue. A report was taken.

10:26 a.m. - An injury collision was reported at East Gladstone Street ant Lone Hill Avenue. Arrested was Elliott Smith, 25, on suspicion of driving without a license and an outstanding warrant. Smith was held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

12:23 p.m. - Theft in progress was reported at Stater Bros, 1830 East Route 66. Police arrested Amy Loucks, 23, on suspicion of burglary. Loucks was cited and released.

7:05 p.m. - Police investigated a missing person report in the 200 block of West Petunia Street.
