Police Blotter: A Look at Calls For Service in Glendora

Calls from Dec. 30, 2013 to Jan. 5.

The following information was provided by the Glendora Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Dec. 30
12:10 p.m. - Vandalism was reported in the 200 block of North Crescent Glen Drive.

12:45 p.m. - Theft in progress was reported at Walmart, 1950 East Auto Centre Drive. Arrested was Danielle Davis, 29, from West Covina, on suspicion of burglary. Davis was released for a court appearance.

4:04 p.m. - A fight in progress was reported in the 600 block of South Grand Avenue. Arrested was Brett Worsham, 34, from Glendora, on suspicion of battery. Worsham was issued a citation and released.

7:30 p.m. - Theft was investigated in the 1300 block of East Gladstone Street.

Tuesday, Dec. 31
2:14 a.m. - Police responded to an initial call of a non-injury traffic collision at Grand and Juanita avenues. A male driver crashed his vehicle, knocking over a light pole.

8:03 a.m. - Police investigated a public drunkenness report in the 1300 block of St. Vladimir Street. Arrested was Robert Gates, 51, on suspicion of disorderly conduct. Gates was held in lieu of $250 bail.

2:56 p.m. - Officers investigated a residential burglary in the 1200 block of East Glenview Lane.

7:48 p.m. - Grand theft was investigated in the 900 block of South Inverness Avenue.

Wednesday, Jan. 1
12:13 a.m. - A traffic stop was conducted on South Glendora Avenue at Route 66. Arrested was John Campbell, 59, from Walnut, on suspicion of DUI and exceeding the legal blood-alcohol level. Campbell was issued a citation and released.

1:18 a.m. - Battery was reported on North Catherine Park Drive and Valley Center Avenue. A report was taken.

5:41 p.m. - Officers investigated a municipal code violation in the 600 block of West Route 66. Arrested was Armando Lomeli, 55, from Glendora, on suspicion of disorderly conduct. Lomeli was issed a citation and released.

7:23 p.m. - Police investigated a missing juvenile in the 1100 block of East Renwick Road.

9:30 p.m. - Vandalism was investigated in the 2100 block of East Auto Centre Drive.

Thursday, Jan. 2
12:05 a.m. - Police were called to assist fire fighters on East Route 66 at Compromise Line Road. A burning Christmas Tree was reported in the road.

7:59 a.m. - Fraud in progress was reported in the 700 block of East Essex Street. A report was taken.

9:55 a.m. - Theft was investigated in the 600 block of North Wabash Avenue.

2:49 p.m. - Vehicle burglary was investigated in the 900 block of South Lone Hill Avenue.

4:25 p.m. - Vandalism was reported in the 100 block of East Route 66.

Friday, Jan. 3
12:41 a.m. - A disturbance was reported in the 200 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue. Arrested was Michael Bustillos, 46, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm. Bustillos was cited and released.

9:46 a.m. - Police responded to an injury traffic collision on South Grand at Carroll avenues. A report was taken.

12:03 p.m. - Theft in progress was reported at Walmart. Arrested was Bryan Ragone, 42, on petty theft with a prior conviction and other warrants. Ragone was transferred to the Inmate Reception Center.

2:56 p.m. - Vehicle burglary was investigated in the 100 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue.

10:16 p.m. - A traffic stop was conducted in the 1900 block of East Auto Centre Drive. Arrested was Adam Damascus, 23, from San Dimas, on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale. Damascus was cited and released.

Saturday, Jan. 4
1:06 a.m. - A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of East Bennett Avenue. Arrested was Kylie Poole, 24, on suspicion of DUI and exceeding the legal blood-alcohol level. Poole was cited and released.

1:20 a.m. - Battery was reported in the 700 block of West Route 66. A report was taken.

8:58 a.m. - An injury traffic collision was investigated in the 100 block of South Grand Avenue.

2:02 p.m. - Grand theft was investigated in the 500 block of South Elwood Avenue.

Sunday, Jan. 5
12:55 a.m. - A traffic stop was conducted on East Sierra Madre at Minnesota avenues. Arrested was Devon Steff, 29, from Upland, on suspicion of DUI and exceeding the legal blood-alcohol level. Steff was cited and released.

10:01 a.m. - Burglary was investigated in the 800 block of East Route 66.

2:33 p.m. - Vehicle burglary was investigated in the 200 block of North Barranca Avenue.

4:19 p.m. - An injury collision was reported on South Dodsworth Avenue at Baseline Road. Two vehicles were involved, one of which rolled over. minor injuries were reported.

10:29 p.m. - Police investigated a deceased person in the 800 block of Huerte Verde Road.
