Police Blotter: 2 Brush Fires Ignite Off of 210 Freeway

Monday, Sept. 30

Glendora Police detectives say a man lured a Citrus College student from a Covina bus stop and sexually battered her before dropping her off at the Citrus College campus.

Tuesday, Oct. 1

7:31 p.m. Tyler Brian Holthouser, 22, of Glendora, was arrested at 1427 E. Cossacks and charged with second degree burglary.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

5 p.m. A brush fire was reported off of the 210 freeway near Bonnie Cove Avenue and Grand Avenue. Firefighters reported the fire knocked down by 6 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 3

1 a.m. Glendora Police arrested transient Jeff Skelley, 31, for starting a second blaze near a previous fire by the 210 Freeway in Glendora.

8:11 a.m. BURGLARY INVESTIGATION: 100 block N. Glendora Ave.

4:03 p.m.. VEHICLE BURGLARY INVESTIGATION: 1300 Block E. Gladstone Ave.

10:40 p.m. Darren Paul Larson, 24, of Azusa, was arrested at Foothill Blvd. and Citrus Avenue and charged with hit and run.

Friday, Oct. 4

12:34 p.m. Gregorz Jerzy Bednarcy, 29, was arrested at 1317 Lyman and charged with illegal possession of ammunition.

12:54 p.m.  VEHICLE BURGLARY INVESTIGATION: 1300 block S. Lone Hill Ave.

Saturday, Oct. 5

5:57 a.m. Joseph Robles, 43, was arrested at 750 W. Route 66 and charged with disorderly conduct.

Sunday, Oct. 6

9:47 p.m. Joneil Yambao Caragao, 25, of Glendora, was arrested at 854 W. Alford St. and charged with battery with serious bodily injury.
