Police Ask for Help in Finding Lost Colt 45 Revolver

The revolver fell off car in the vicinity of Route 66 and Grand Ave., Glendora. The owner was headed to Burro Canyon Shooting Park for target practice.

Glendora Police are asking for help from the public in a search for a Colt 45 revolver that fell off a car after it was left on the trunk by mistake.

The lost gun was reported to police at 2:31 p.m. Tuesday.

The owner was headed to Burro Canyon Shooting Park at the time.

It is thought the gun, which was unloaded and in a blue box, fell off in the vicinity of Route 66 and Grand Ave., Glendora. The owner retraced the route to the target range, but did not find the box or the gun.

Glendora Police Lt. Joe Ward asked that if someone finds the gun to please call the Glendora Police Department at (626) 914-8250.
