Police Arrest Solicitor on Missouri Warrant

Suspect was soliciting newspapers with seven others without a permit.

Glendora Police arrested Jenna Morris, 20, of Bourne, Mass. Tuesday on a warrant for fraud from Livingston County, Missouri. The arrest took place at 2:26 p.m. at the intersection of Foothill Blvd. and Valley Center Ave.

Morris was in a van carrying eight newspaper solicitors, said Glendora Police Lt. Joe Ward.

They were going door to door, but did not have a permit to solicit, which is required by the city, he said. The driver of the van, Michael Moore, 35, of Commerce was arrested on suspicion of driving without a license.

An out of state warrant in this situation is unusual, Ward said.
