Officers Disarm Man Wielding Knife at La Fetra Center

Glendora officers disarmed a knife-wielding man at the La Fetra Center, Sunday, after he allegedly brandished the weapon at people, police said.

Police responded to the La Fetra Center, 333 West Foothill Blvd., at 5:29 p.m. A private function was taking place inside the La Fetra Center when a man entered and began eating food that had been laid out for patrons, said Sergeant Mike Randazzo of Glendora Police.

People attempted to escort the man out of the building when the man allegedly challenged someone to a fight and then produced a knife from his pocket, Randazzo said.

Police disarm 47-year-old Devin Fullmer, from Glendora, on suspicion of exhibiting a deadly weapon other than a firearm and causing a public disturbance. Fullmer was issued a citation.
