Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on 57 Freeway

The accident was reported Thursday morning before the Arrow Highway exit.

[3:30 p.m.]: CHP confirmed two vehicles were involved in a crash that killed a motocyclist on the 57 northbound freeway near Arrow Highway this morning.

CHP officials say a motorcycle driven by Daniel Calvillo, 18 of Pomona, rear-ended a pickup truck at 9:50 a.m. Thursday morning.

Calvillo was confirmed dead at the scene.

[12:48 p.m.] The California Highway Patrol reported a fatality crash on the northbound 57 freeway near the Arrow Highway exit Thursday morning.

At 9:50 a.m., a motorcyclist was reported down in the number 2 lane. CHP closed three lanes as emergency response arrived at the scene.

An investigation is currently underway.

The victim’s identity, how the crash occurred and the number of vehicles involved in the accident is not known at this time.

CHP reopened all lanes by 12:23 p.m.
