Man Who Stole Scooter From Boy Arrested

The robbery occurred on Christmas Day in Covina.

LA County Sheriff deputies arrested man suspected of committing a strong-arm robbery against an 11-year-old boy in Covina Friday.

Francisco Rodriguez, 18, allegedly forcefully grabbed a scooter from the boy in the 1300 block of Citrus Avenue in the afternoon of Christmas Day, Dec. 25.   

The stolen scooter was later recovered and returned to the boy.
