Man Enters Azusa Police Station Bleeding From Stab Wound, Followed By Suspect

The female suspect was still in possession of the knife when she entered the police station.

A man entered the Azusa Police station heavily bleeding from a stab wound Sunday evening, and he was closely followed by the female suspect who was still in possession of the knife, according to authorities.

The victim entered the police station with a stab wound to his midsection at around 8:12 p.m., according to a statement by Azusa Police. As officers tended to the victim, the female suspect came into the station with the knife in hand.

Authorities later determined that the victim and the suspect are acquaintances and the stabbing occurred near Azusa City Hall Auditorium and the library.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of a assault with a deadly weapon is being held on $30,000.00 bail. According to Azusa Police, the suspect’s identity is still being determined.

The victim was taken to LA County USC Medical Center for treatment.
