Man Drives Truck Over Glendora Ridge Road

Injuries reported in the crash, the driver was reportedly the only occupant at the time.

A man reportedly drove his truck over the side on Glendora Ridge Road Friday morning.

Officers with the California Highway patrol were dispatched at 10:51 a.m. to Glendora Ridge Road at mile marker 2.75. Initial reports indicated the driver was injured in the crash. A Los Angeles County Public Works truck was on scene with the driver, according to CHP traffic logs.

The truck went straight down over the side, according to scanner reports.

Deputies with the San Dimas Sheriff's Station were also en route, as well as a Sheriff's helicopter. The driver was transported by helicopter to an area hospital, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The extent of injuries is unknown.

The CHP was tasked with retrieving the truck and requested a tow truck with 150 feet of cable to retrieve the vehicle, according to traffic logs.
