Man Arrested In Connection With Recent Stolen Vehicle

Vehicle was reportedly stolen out of Chino Hills two days ago.

Glendora Police took a man into custody after learning he was driving a reported stolen vehicle from Chino Hills.

Representatives from OnStar called Glendora Police just before 8 a.m. Nov 14 and identified the area of Glenwood and Ada avenues as the location of the stolen car. Officers almost immediately located the vehicle, conducted a felony traffic stop and arrested the driver without incident, police said.

The 2012 Hyundai Sonata was reported stolen out of Chino Hills Nov. 13 during a burglary in that city. No stolen items were found inside the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop, police said.

Police arrested Edwin Valentine, 52, from Covina, on suspicion of the unlawful taking or driving of a vehicle. Valentine is also a parolee and is being held without bail.
