Injury Crash Reported on 210 Freeway
Hit and run involving a motorcycle ties up early-morning commute.
A motorcyclist was injured in a hit-and-run collision early Monday morning on the Interstate 210 freeway Westbound in Glendora.
The collision happened around 5:40 a.m. near the Sunflower Avenue exit, according to officials at the California Highway Patrol. The motorcycle hit a pickup truck, and the truck fled the scene, the CHP said. The accident blocked the carpool and No. 1 lane.
arrived to the scene after being told it was near the Interstate 57 interchange and the CHP arrived minutes after. CHP officials immediately called for a helicopter to fly out the single patient and had both sides of the freeway shut down by 6:13 a.m.

The patient was transported to County/USC. The condition of the rider was not immediately known to officials at the CHP or the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
