Injured Skateboarder Airlifted From Angeles National Forest

Accident occurred on Glendora Mountain Road near East Fork Road Tuesday.

An injured skateboarder was airlifted to the hospital from the forest service area on Glendora Mountain Road Tuesday morning.

Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the call on Glendora Mountain Road, one mile north of East Fork Road at around 9:16 a.m.

The injured male had fallen from his skateboard, according to an L.A. County Fire representative. The age of the skateboarder and the extent of his injuries were not immediately known, although the representative noted that his injuries were "serious enough" to be airlifted to the hospital.

He was transported by helicopter to the hospital at 9:47 a.m.
