Hiker Finds Woman Dead in Mountains North of Glendora

Homicide detectives were called out Thursday afternoon, according to the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.

A hiker found a woman dead in the San Gabriel Mountains north of Glendora, the Sheriff's Department announced Thursday evening.

The incident was reported at 3:11 p.m. Jan. 24 and homicide detectives were called out to investigate, according to the L.A. County sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.

The location was described by deputies as East Fork Road and Prairie Fork Road in the Angeles National Forest.

The body of the woman was found by a hiker, deputies said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. No information about her identity was released.

Sheriff's personnel at the Homicide Bureau and the San Dimas Station said in phone interviews they did not have any further info on the location.

East Fork Road is east of the San Gabriel Reservoir and State Route 39. Prairie Forks Road is north of the East Fork Ranger Station, and south of Vincent Gap and State Route 2, the Angeles Crest Highway.

god forbid the cops would tell us what happened so other girls and woman can avoid torture. cops here are obese and gun crazed. also, very mean to old ladies...cop #43 in monrovia me mead is cruel to handicapped old lady. made her walk home in the rain because he towed her car after she ran out of gas. she told me she had to sit down to call aaa and henordered her to go back in her car. she refused. he towed her car even rhough she was with a caregiver who was driving it. she had to walk home in the dark. crippled lady. office mead #43 please investigate. it was less than 12 days ago. the lady had her food, her per food, and her heater for her house. she didnt have those for 4 days. then she had to pay $440 to fet her car back and needed help from caregiver that day also. very mean COP.
