UPDATE: New Year's Day Stabbing Reported

Police arrest one suspect at gunpoint, according to scanner reports.

Christopher John Lopez, 26, was arrested at 3:55 a.m. Tuesday in connection to a reported stabbing New Year's Day. The incident occurred in the 700 block of W. Galatea St. 

Lopez was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to Glendora Police. The case is currently under investigation.

A stabbing occurred in the early-morning hours of the new year in Glendora, according to scanner reports.

Officers responded to the call early Tuesday morning in the 700 block of W. Galatea St. The victim was taken to the hospital by family members. Scanner reports also indicated the suspect was apprehended by Glendora Police by gunpoint.
