Glendora Man Robbed of His Prescription Marijuana in Gladstone Park
Aquaintance grabbed victim and put him in a chokehold. A suspect was arrested.
A Glendora man was robbed of his medical marijuana and a pipe by an acquaintance shortly after 8 p.m. Monday in Gladstone Park, 600 East Gladstone Ave.
The victim called police who after arrival at the park apprehended a suspect identified as Jacob Moyer, 18, of Glendora.
Moyer is charged with robbery and is being held in Glendora Jail on $50,000 bail, said Glendora Police Lt. Joe Ward.

The incident began when the suspect put the 19-year-old victim in a chokehold and with one hand rifled through the victim’s pockets, Ward said.
In addition to the container of medical marijuana and pipe, the suspect took the victim’s wallet. The wallet had no money in it prior to the robbery, so the suspect left it and it was found, Ward said.

The stolen marijuana and pipe were not found. However, some other marijuana, which was not part of the prescription marijuana, was found on the suspect, Ward said.
