Glendora Man Faces Theft, Pilfered Mail Charges

A Glendora man and a Rancho Cucamonga woman face a string of charges, including stealing mail from several surrounding cities.

Covina Police discovered a couple in possession of stolen ID’s, pilfered mail and a stolen vehicle after they allegedly tried to write a bad check at Walmart.

The couple - Michael Annand, 41, of Glendora and Crystal Davis, 26, of Rancho Cucamonga – was arrested early Tuesday morning at the Walmart at 1275 N. Azusa Ave. in Covina, according to Covina Police.

Davis was also in possession of methamphetamine, said police. The stolen mail belonged to residents in Diamond Bar, Covina, Rancho Cucamonga, Chino Hills, West Covina and Upland. Among the mail was a UPS package, several passports and identification cards.

Davis was charged with possession of a controlled substance and Annand was arrested on suspicion of check fraud. Both face charges related to the pilfered mail.
