Glendora Man Arrested Following Stolen Car Chase

A wanted parolee was arrested following a pursuit that began in Irwindale and ending in Glendora Monday.

Police arrested a Glendora man after he led police on a stolen car chase from Irwindale to Glendora Monday.

A stolen silver Toyota Sequoia was reported stolen out of Pasadena via a LoJack signal and was later found on Arrow Highway in Irwindale at 4:57 p.m., according to a story in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.

The officer tried to pull the driver over, but the driver of the SUV took off.

The vehicle pursuit continued through Azusa and ended in the 800 block of West Bonita Avenue in Glendora.

The driver left the vehicle and fled on foot. The vehicle continued moving and hit a commercial building. No major damage was reported to the building.

The suspect, Jason Edward Reader, 34, of Glendora was apprehended in a nearby backyard.
