Frank Pastore Crash Ruled Accidental

The comatose Christian radio show host has been transferred to an Upland hospital.

An investigation into the crash that left KKLA Christian radio show host Frank Pastore in critical condition has been ruled an accident, the California Highway Patrol said.

Frank Pastore, host of the Frank Pastore Show and former major league baseball pitcher, was riding his motorcycle on the 210 freeway near Duarte Nov. 19 when a Hyundai Sonata drifted into his lane and collided with Pastore. Pastore suffered major head injuries in the collision and has since remained in a coma in critical condition.

The 56-year-old Glendora woman driving the Sonata has not been arrested or cited, according to CHP reports.

Pastore was transferred to a hospital in his hometown of Upland last week.

"Sonata drifted into his lane" how is that an accident? Drivers need to learn to look twice for motorcyclists, this lady needs to have her license revoked.

She was probably texting. He was in the carpool lane, she was driving alone. She didn't mean to crash into him but she is obviously neglegent.

I myself was involved in a motorcycle accident in Santa Rosa , Ca. I also suffered traumatic brain injury on July 19,2012 which was 4 months to the day before Franks was. I am very fortunate and nearly back to my old self . When I 1 st heard about his accident I cried and cried every time I read about Frank on the Internet. All I ask is for everyone to slow down and please watch for motorcyclist. To Franks family and friends you are in my prayers !!!!!!

My deepest heart felt sympathy goes out to Frank's family and friends. What a tremendous loss. Frank was my hero in the faith. He did not compromise. I hardly missed a radio show. I've learned so much from Frank and his guest's, and admired Frank's courage in speaking truth without compromise. I know he is in heaven, and that is wonderful, but my prayers are for the ones he left behind. Lord please bring comfort .

Manslaughter with a vehicle. Until these types of "acidents" are treated as some type of crime, they will continue.

That's my thought. Also, people get so distracted around the holidays. This was before Thanksgiving, but she still could have been hurried with holiday preparation. This is horrible. A beautiful person like Frank killed because of a preventable collision.

This lady is off the hook . Ruled as an accident. Incredible!!!They did not honor there on :DMV rules. This is so unjust. She should be in jail. I cried and cried to hear Frank was gone of this world! He was a brilliant man fighting for God! I will miss him hearing him everyday driving back home. My condolences to his family. May God give his family strength and hope during this hard times.

Frank was an interesting man since I am not easily impressed with most people who are represented on Christian radio. The simple-minded rhetoric I am so accustomed to hearing on Christian radio ad nauseam wasn’t what was found on Frank’s show and unlike one-of-a-kinds I suspect not many will follow the prototype that Mr. Pastore presented towards all of us as a real thinking, ask many questions knd of gut he was. For all of this and his wonderful sense of humour he will be missed. God Bless you Frank.

Wow, this is amazing. My husband didn't even cross over the line when he manuvered in a lane, but HE was found 100% liable because the women's tire hit the back of his vehicle and they said HE hit her. No witnesses no nothing. And she is not responsible, wow what is wrong with the CHP in this? Anyone crosses a line its there fault! I will especially miss your great and awesome laugh Frank, that God blessed you with, looking forward to seeing you in heaven brother. Keep singing loud.

Our loss, Heaven's gain. You will be missed Frank, but being your brother's and sister's in Christ, we have Hope to see you again some day. Thank you for standing up your Heavenly Father while you were on this fallen world. You were an inspiration to millions of Christ followers.

Blaming one another for this loss is not the way to go. We are all forgiven in the end. All we can do is learn from others mistakes and sometimes help correct then when they do wrong, without judgement. The woman involved in this accident will live with what happened as long as she is around.

How come the woman's name isn't released? Something doesn't seem right with the information or lack of it. If she crossed into the carpool lane, accidentally or not, the minimum is a ticket---period. Why no name and no ticket?

I used to own a Hyundai Sonata, but sold it after only one year. The blind spots in this car are worse in the front, than the ones in the back. The low sleekness of the vehicle creates horrible blind spots and I had many scary near misses. I have been driving for 35 years and have never had an accident. I'm a very cautious driver, but with this car, I had too many close calls to count, all due to the fact that it was extremely hard to see. My husband didn't believe me until he drove it and had the same experience. I don't know what happened in this accident other than what was reported, but maybe it was just what it says.......an accident.
