The Glendora Police Department reports that the closure of Glendora Mountain Road will be extended through Friday, Jan. 17 until 12 p.m. due to the extended Red Flag warnings.
The National Weather Service has extended the Red Flag warning through 3 p.m. Jan. 17 for much of Los Angeles County due to gusty Santa Ana winds and low humidities.
Winds are expected to blow from the northeast between 20 and 30 miles per hour in the affected areas through Thursday evening. Winds will diminish slightly to 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts possibly at 40 miles per hour through Friday afternoon.
