Five Arrested After Fight at Sierra High School

Teens arrested after fight breaks out for unknown reasons.

Students at were arrested Tuesday afternoon after a fight between 15 students erupted.

responded to the high school, 1134 South Barranca Avenue, after receiving the call. The cause of the fight was not disclosed. All teens arrested, four girls and one boy, were between 16 and 17 years old, according to authorities.

According to scanner reports, at least one student may have been kicked in the head during the fight and required medical attention. Extent of injuries was unknown. After being booked, one of the girls reportedly was found to have a box cutter inside her purse.

The teens were eventually cited and released to their parents. Unofficial charges the teens were booked on were not immediately known.
