I am a teacher at Sierra High School, where students are fun, helpful, and most work hard to make better choices for their future. Unfortunately, as in any school, some students have made a poor choice, one which will affect their graduations and their futures. Be careful not to judge our campus by the mistakes of a few.

I also work at Sierra High School and totally agree with Elaine Stricklin. We have great teachers and students at our school! The reporter of this story should stop by and see the great things going on at Sierra High School.

The student (Juan Pablo) that was reported to be kicked in the head and needed medical attention wasn't really kicked in the head he was attacked by Christopher Escalera and Saul Aquino . There are several wittiness that seen them use a weapon. Which both greasers weren't charge or arrested. I believe it should be all fair and equal and broth of the aggressor should be broth to Justices.

I worked at several high schools that were labeled "California Distinguished Schools" and they all had fights every once in a while. So this is not something unique to Sierra. I'm sure it's a good school in spite of a few mishaps here and there. And for the record, the term "greaser" is offensive and racist. I encourage people to look for a less offensive synonym.

I graduated from sierra in 2007 its not a bad school at all! The teachers and staff are awesome its the students who make it appear bad. I had a great experiance there and even had the opportunity to have some art work we did for mrs. Stricklins class displayed in down town Azusa. Its so sad that everyone seems to point out the schools flaws and never seem to get around to the good things they do. I mean they can't controll how teens react in every situation cut them some slack! -sylvia carrazco "07"

I graduated from sierra class of 2000, they have amazing teachers that really care. I loved that school, bad and good students are every where. I now live in Encino & the up scale schools are so bad. Kids already doing drugs in jr high. So doesn't matter where you go it steams from the PARENTS.
