[Update] Injured Woman Rescued in Angeles National Forest

The woman was injured in a fall near Glendora Mountain and Mount Baldy roads.

A woman injured in a fall in the Angeles National Forest was hospitalized today.

Los Angeles County firefighters were sent to an area near Glendora Mountain and Mount Baldy roads about 2:30 a.m., found the woman and took her to a hospital, a deputy at the sheriff's San Dimas station said.    

Two hikers reported missing near Switzer Falls after failing to meet a group Sunday afternoon were found in good shape early today, according to broadcast reports.

Los Angeles County firefighters are searching along Glendora Mountain Road and Mount Baldy Road in the Angeles National Forest area for a woman they believe was injured in fall.

No other details are known at this time.
