Firefighters Knock Down Azusa House Fire

Authorities say a vehicle may have ignited the fire Monday night.

Los Angeles County Fire responded to reported house fire in the 1800 block of East Gladstone St. in an unincorporated area of Azusa near Citrus Avenue Monday night.

Los Angeles County Fire received the call of a structure fire at around 10 p.m. Initial reports indicated that two people were still inside the burning the house, but when authorities arrived the two people had made it out of the home on their own.

Fire officials say the fire may have started in a vehicle parked near the home. However, it was unclear how the fire ignited.

No injuries were reported. The fire was knocked down by 11 p.m. Monday night.
