Elderly Woman Hit By Car at Glendora Crosswalk

The woman was airlifted to a nearby trauma center.

Los Angeles County rescuers flew an elderly woman from Foothill Presbyterian to LAC/USC Medical Center after she was hit by a car at Glendora crosswalk Thursday morning.

The 74-year-old woman was struck at Amelia Avenue and Country Club Drive by a southbound vehicle, according to Glendora Police.

The incident has been called an accident and no crime has been determined.

The condition of the woman is unavailable, although there is indication of head injuries, according to officials.
