DUI Checkpoint Scheduled in Covina Saturday

The sobriety checkpoint is part of the countywide holiday DUI crackdown.

A DUI and driver’s license checkpoint is planned Saturday in an undisclosed location in Covina, according to authorities.

The Glendora Police Department, with law enforcement agencies of Azusa, Covina, Claremont, La Verne and other local police agencies, will conduct the checkpoint in the evening hours Saturday as part of the 19-day holiday anti-DUI campaign.

The Avoid the 100’s countywide DUI crackdown launched Dec. 14 and will continue with additional patrol units and checkpoints until Jan. 1.
