DUI Checkpoint Planned in San Dimas

The Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department will conduct a DUI/Driver's License Checkpoint Aug. 16.

The Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department San Dimas station will conduct a DUI/Driver’s License checkpoint in an undisclosed location in San Dimas between the hours of 7 p.m. and 3 a.m.

Deputy Sheriffs will be checking drivers passing through the checkpoint looking for signs of alcohol and drug impairment. Deputies will also check drivers for proper licensing.

Drivers caught driving while impaired can expect jail time, license suspension, and insurance increases, as well as fines, fees, DUI classes, other expenses that can exceed $10,000, according to LASD.
