Crime Blotter: Indecent Exposure, a DUI in Baskin-Robbins & St. Patty's Day Arrests

Events from the Glendora Police log during the week of March 14 to 20.

Monday, March 14: Lt. Brian Summers on duty (morning), Lt. Joe Ward on duty (evening).

  • Glendora Police arrested a Los Angeles man on suspicion of for a past sexual battery crime. Celevino Jacobo 34, was held without bail. His arrest followed a 10 a.m. report of indecent exposure. A man and woman saw a man expose himself in a parking lot of a commercial complex in the 1300 block of S. Grand Ave., Glendora.
  • At 2:40 p.m. Glendora Police arrested an in a cafeteria at Citrus College, 1000, West Foothill Blvd., Glendora. Police took Robert Delangel, 28, into custody. He is charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
  • At 5:40 p.m. Glendora Police responded to a hit and run collision in a parking lot at 440 W. Foothill Blvd., Glendora. The suspect hit a parked car and left the scene in a small, silver SUV.
  • At 7:57 p.m. Glendora Police responded to a report of a car stolen from the Wal-Mart parking lot at 1950 Auto Center Drive. Police learned that the stolen car, a 1987 Toyota Camry, belonged to a Wal-Mart employee.

Tuesday, March 15: Lt. Brian Summers on duty.

  • At 6:55 a.m. Glendora Police responded to the 900 block of Essex St., Glendora where a pickup truck was broken into.  Police learned that tools had been taken in the early morning burglary.

  • Glendora Police arrested an at 856 E. Route 66, Glendora.

Thursday, March 17: Lt. Jamie Caldwell on duty.

  • Glendora Police made 13 arrests on the evening of St. Patrick’s Day. Most were for driving under the influence, but there were several for drunk in public, Caldwell said.

Friday, March 19: Lt. Rob Lamborghini on duty.

  • At 7:40 a.m. Glendora Police arrested Ryan Ramos 27, residence unknown, on suspicion of being under the influence of a stimulant and for possession of methamphetamine. An officer stopped the suspect who was riding a bicycle at the intersection of Route 66 and Grand Ave. for a traffic violation, Lamborghini said. He was initially arrested for being under the influence of a stimulant. Then after the suspect was taken to the police station, investigators found small baggies of what appeared to be methamphetamine on the suspect’s possession, Lamborghini said.
