Bomb Threat Made on Citrus College Campus

College conducts a campus-wide evacuation; no explosive devices found.

A bomb threat was made on the Citrus College campus Thursday afternoon, resulting in a campus-wide evacuation at around 4 p.m., according to Glendora Police.

At around 2:30 p.m., the college received a phone call identifying a bomb on campus. College staff immediately conducted a sweep of the entire campus and evacuated all the buildings. Everyone was told to move at least 100 feet away from the buildings.

A search through each room on the campus yielded no potential explosive devices, according to Glendora Police.

Classes resumed within an hour of the evacuation.

Police did not have any information on who may have made the bomb threats, although the case is under investigation.
