Bicyclist Struck in Nearby Hit-And-Run

The victim has moderate leg injuries.

A bicyclist was hospitalized with moderate leg injuries after being struck by a car in a hit-and-run collision in Azusa, police said.

The victim, a 25-year-old man, was riding eastbound in the 17200 block of East Gladstone Avenue when he was struck from behind by a vehicle described only as a blue sedan, Azusa Police Department Sgt. Rick Hayden said.

The suspect's vehicle continued eastbound without stopping, Hayden said.
