Bicyclist Killed By Metrolink Train in Baldwin Park
Man walked under crossing gate arms as train was coming.
BALDWIN PARK (CNS) - A 49-year-old man pushing a bicycle was killed in Baldwin Park when he walked under a railroad crossing arm and was hit by a Metrolink train, a police sergeant said today.
The man was identified as Norwalk resident Carlos Jacinto DeSantiago, said Baldwin Park police Sgt. Chris Hafford.
Hafford said the crash occurred at 7:28 p.m. Friday on Ramona Boulevard and Downing Avenue. He said the train was crossing Ramona Boulevard at Downing Avenue.

DeSantiago was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:01 p.m. Friday, he said.
The Metrolink tweeted that it was Train 335 on the San Bernardino line.
