Barnes & Noble Receives Bomb Threat

A caller reported a bomb located outside of the store Sunday evening.

Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Glendora received a bomb threat Sunday evening, but soon determined the call was a hoax, according to Glendora Police.

The store at 1315 W. Gladstone received the phone call at 8:35 p.m., which indicated a bomb was located somewhere outside the store.

Glendora Police searched the parking lot, nearby vehicles and planters, but found nothing suspicious.

Officers questioned witnesses outside of the store, but no one reported anything suspicious, said Lt. James DeMond.

The store remained open during the search.

Go, go GPD. It is nice to be appreciated, but even better when someone acknowledges it.
